The Rutting Season. . . . .

Richmond Park, London.
Who would have believed
that this park encaptured
such a vast area.

The park is home to at least 650 deer.

The deer remained,
 eventhough people fairly close by,
besides a nearby
road going through the park,
which was busy with cars & cyclists.

The above, a definite favourite!

  1. Hi Shirley, a favourite place for us to visit, we were there recently. Sadly the deer aren't so tame, there have been few incidents of the deer attacking people who get too close, one very recent in Bushy Park, Teddington!!Great photographs. Enjoy the rest of the weekend, Jackie in Surrey.

  2. Jackie, many thanks for your comment. My brother did say of recent incidents, I've since reworded my post, I think I was just so amazed to see them stay, regardless of the amount of people that approached nearby. If you see one in the local hills here, they very soon disappear at the sight of anyone. Visited there last weekend, wonderful weather aswell!
    Enjoy your weekend!
