Weekend Blessings

The flower above,

a member of the Dandelion family,

 a common weed & yet,

when photographed becomes a real beauty!

And the common daisy,

so many in my lawns,

but they look so fresh & wonderful!

Lets hope this weekend will bring plenty of sunshine & warm weather!

We certainly have to make the most of it,

 already noticing the evenings starting to get darker earlier,

& yet I feel we haven't had much of a summer yet.

 definitely in full  activity,

 after the pollen,

 to enable the  production of the Honey.

A definite circle of nature....

A Stroll at Greylake

A leisurely stroll around the Greylake Nature Reserve,

 located on the Somerset Levels,

not a long one but still relaxing, and as it's been awhile since visiting,

wonderful to see how the summer season

 has changed the surroundings

 into a more fulfilling lush landscape.

Guadalest, Spain

On my recent travels to Spain,

I had a chance to visit the small town of Guadalest,

situated in the mountainous province of Alicante.

To reach another part of the town,

 with the castle on the top of the mountain,

it mean't a trek up loads of steps,

 with a walkway tunneled through the mountain.

Of course,

a visit would not have been complete

 without a tour of the castle.

This was a beautiful Spanish location,

 with also some lovely shops full of charming souvenirs.

If only I had had more room in the suitcase!

Overall,

 a very tranquil & enjoyable day!
