A Changing Season

Now, it's become more noticable that there's a slight chill in the air at night, & with the morning, comes the dew on the grass. . . . .

Blackberries are now forming & leaf colour is starting to turn into warmer shades. . . .

Apple trees are now laden . . . .

The Hypericum,
that bears such a lovely flower, has an abundance of berries which is turning from a deep shade of red to black. . . .

My Mothers vegetable garden is now coming into its own, with Runner Beans, Carrots, Beetroot.
Potatoes are now dug up & stored & the onions, red & white are hung to keep dry.
Leeks are planted & cabbages are still growing.
Unfortunately, the tomatoes are not doing so well this year & the cucumber plant only gave one poor specimen which wasn't looking that favourable.
