Nosey by Nature

On another part of the farm,

I was introduced to the baby goats....

Very cute in their character,

 always interested in visitors at the side of their penn

The next barn,

 so much larger,

I had quite an audience!

So many,

 mainly white goats,

 although occasionally,

a different colour & breed emerged,

 to look over the barn penn fence.

I think I was fortunate not  to be in the penn with them,

I don't think my camera would have survived!

All sooo full of character!

Evenso,

I fully appreciated this opportunity to become so close

 to some of the farm animals.

It really did prove,

 they are just as individual as us humans.

Up Close

Recently, I had a request from a friend,

 to photograph some of the farm animals,

 where she lived with her partner.

This mean't getting into a barn

 with cows & their calves.

This really was up close...!

Even had one of the larger calfs following me around,

nudging me at every opportunity for attention,

 that was some hefty nudge aswell!

The calf definitely wanted my attention!

The photographs are to be a surprise for her partners birthday,

With some to become prints for their home.

The session didn't just end with cows!?!

Trick & Treating...

From Witches on broomsticks to

Spiders & their cobwebs....

The Rutting Season. . . . .

Richmond Park, London.

Who would have believed

that this park encaptured

such a vast area.

The park is home to at least 650 deer.

The deer remained,

 eventhough people fairly close by,

besides a nearby

road going through the park,

which was busy with cars & cyclists.

The above, a definite favourite!

Misty Encounters....

The further I travelled on Saturday, the mist just became more dense,

but with a stop off point at St Audries, Somerset,

look what greeted me.....

St Audries is an excellent loction,

 which couples often choose for their weddings.

The church below,

 is situated at the entrance of this large estate,

 together with these animals.

Beside the churchyard,

 these sheep,

viewed me with great interest.

Other horses hung close in a sheltered corner.

With the air so chilly & damp,

 time to head back home......

Sheltering

I don't think we're the only ones to feel the cold with the weather.

These cows recently huddled together,

 in the lowest point of their huge field,

sheltering under the boughs of some trees.

Charming Brugge

Sluis,

 so close to the Dutch/Belgium  border,

 that no visit to Zeeland would be complete,

 unless a visit to Brugge. . . .

Such a favourite place,

a place that I use to frequently go shopping. . . .

Certainly a place,

 ousing with character & 

 definitely a certain charm. . . . .

The whole atmosphere of Brugge just seems to blend in. . . .

A huge selection of street cafes to choose from,

 to take the chance for a relaxing moment!

A wonderful horse & carridge ride,

 to help take in the sites of this charactisitic location.
