All the Signs

All the signs are very apparent
for a changing of the seasons!

The garden is starting to become more alive
 with some gorgeous springtime colour.

The transformation is really inspiring,
lets hope we can look forward
 to many sunny warm days,
 as the year progress!

Bring on the Flowers

How I love the beauty of flowers,
each and everyone are such a miracle,
 and each unique.

 Yesterday, was my birthday,
even though I added another year to my age,
with the delivery of  some roses,
 from my cousin,
really put a smile on my face :))

Also, this past week,
I noticed a lone daffodil growing in one of the garden pots.
Definite encouragement to buy some for the home.
Such a vibrant colour to cheer the day.
The tulips was from one of my birthday cards,
really starting to feel Spring is so close by.

Until there are more signs of this wonderful season outside,
I will certainly make the most of enjoying these beautiful roses!
A Huge Thank You to my lovely cousin xx

Blue Skies Over London

Such a magnificent sight at Greenwich,
the Cutty Sark.

The University,
with modern London in the background.
The area was festooned with filming units displaying arrows 'to the film set',
the catering marque dominating a vast expense of the grounds.
There was definitely some serious filming going on here!
Hopefully, a good drama to look forward too x
  Unfortunately,
I was unable to discover what filming was taking place.

This was such a quick exploring  trip of Greenwich,
but blue skies surprised and prevailed for the day,
 regardless with the relentless cold,
 just over a week ago.

Greenwich also host The Maritime Museum,
this is unfortunately left for another day to explore.

The start of Greenwich Park,
but my time was so limited,
another day,
hopefully in summer with a picnic,
 much more will be discovered.

The Queen's House is also situated here,
 besides the Observatory,
this is saved for another day's visit.

A New Year but. . . . .still edits from 2 0 1 4 !

Firstly, a belated Happy New Year!
~   ~   ~   ~
Although I am optimistic and welcome 2015,
I find myself still looking back at photos,
and editing from recent previous months.
~   ~   ~   ~
Smudge, the dog, really got into the festive spirit.

But, for this lovely season, I even had the chance to visit
Hyde Park, London,
to soak up the atmosphere of
'Winter Wonderland'.
A real seasonal uplifter!

Not only fairground rides,
 but market stalls,
with a festive feel helped to make this season
 that much more real.

With the Xmas gift giving,
a majority of us can expect the usual of slippers amongst those gifts,
if only I could fit into the ones below lol!

But,
the religious theme of the birth of Christ,
 will reinforce the reasoning
 behind such celebrations.

With much present giving,

some of the most memorable present giving,
 comes from the packetaging. .  . .

Although my trip to Cyprus was October/November,
these images are still alive,
with so many photos still to investigate.

Honestly though,
I do truly look forward to

An Autumn Wedding

October,
a real fun time enjoying a family wedding,
at  a beautiful Country House estate hotel,
 in the county of Devon.

The wedding detail was beautiful,
& many guest went home
 with a string of pearls,
 from the many,
that were strewn across the chairs.

The Bride's bouquet was made up of an everlasting statement,
 from brooches & beads,
 which also matched the corsages,
worn by the Mother of the Groom
& the Mother of the Bride.

Although all of the hotel's rooms,
were for the specific use of all the wedding guest,
the wedding breakfast was laid out beautifully
 in an attached marque.

Packets of sunflower seeds for wedding favours.

Numerous detail really added to this occasion,
this couple really deserved such a special day.

Summer @ Barrington Court

This first photo is certainly a favourite for the Summer.
Just love the natural theme of a wild flower meadow.
Just perfect.

From the grounds of Barrington Court to the flowers they grow,
a beautiful natural place, definitely worthy of the
National Trust.

How Long!?!

Well, what a summer!
Where has it gone!
And hence, so long since I've been on blogger:)

This summer gone so quickly,
but there has been lots to look forward to,
including a visit from the family living in Surrey.

That includes their family pet, Smudge.

A visit to the beach was a definite on the hectic schedule,
especially to witness how the children enjoyed themselves/
Although, it was lots of fun for the adults aswell.
This long fair weathered weekend,
went far too quick for us all!

Down on the Farm. . . .

Just love to visit this place,
a farm situated in rural Somerset.
I went to visit my god-daughter and her family.
Visits here,
 are very calming,
and such a respite from busier times.

Loving the Summer

All these photos taken at Hestercombe Gardens,
Somerset.
A wonderful place for some tranquil quality time.
